Annual Triathlon a Big Hit in Puerto Penasco


The Red Rock Company's annual triathlon at Las Palomas Resort in Puerto Penasco went off without a hitch on Saturday, April 30, 2011. More than 600 plucky athletes participated in the event, with the oldest participant being 81 years old.

The Las Palomas Triathlon at Rocky Point has been the most popular triathlon in the desert Southwest for years, with Olympic and Sprint Distance Triathlon, Olympic Relay and 10k and 5k runs.
