Moving To Puerto Peñasco!

-by El Gitano Peñasco, "The Peñasco Gypsy"

El Gitano often gets e-mails from people seeking advice about real estate, hotel/motel rentals, restaurants, medical care, things to do here, etc. and I’m usually able to offer some input. But I received an inquiry this week and I was unable to answer their question so I’m posting it here, believing some of our readers will be able to assist this family.

“Gypsy, My family and I are planning a move to RP within the next few months and would like some advice about the schools. We are torn between living at Las Palmas (or another property along Sandy Beach) and Luna Blanca.

“My daughter is 6, and son is 4. We have looked at CIMA School but heard there is another choice as well. Do you know about this other private school? I appreciate your help. Thanks.”

Some thoughtful input from all would be greatly appreciated and a couple of you less than positive posters (you know who you are) need not weigh in unless you are considerate of this family’s needs and realize that it is their dream and/or objective to relocate here and not your opinion about Mexico or Peñasco that is being sought.

So come on gang, help out a new neighbor. And remember, when new people move here, and a family-sized one at that, it is good for them and our entire community. So if any of you know about other “private school” options share the news!

Heck, if you want to chat about “Las Palmas (or another property along Sandy Beach) and Luna Blanca” I’m sure that would be appreciated as well; although the ‘school’ thing seems to weigh most heavily on their minds (and rightfully so).

A Gypsy can always dream!
