I’m gonna give a thumbs up this week to Regenerative Cellular Therapy (RCT) of Puerto Penasco, located on the grounds of the Bella Sirena Resort, for a ‘lotto’ type deal promotion. Anyway the treatment they are giving away is not yet available in the USA, and that is fine because what is important and that I’ve advocated for some time is that PP needs to get into the “Medical Tourism” business that is very popular in other regions including but not limited to Costa Rica, Thailand, Panama, Brazil, Canada and many other places around!
And talk about a ‘market’. Just in the USA there are nearly 50 Million people with no health insurance at all (and no, Maria, that doesn’t mean they are broke and/or poor) and there is another 50 Million or so who are under insured and/or have deductibles that are just downright outrageous.
Having a bit of a Medical background myself I can also share with you all that the vast majority of needed ‘medical procedures’ that millions of folks require today is not (e.g.) ‘brain surgery’ and is in fact pretty much ‘standard’ stuff that can be treated anywhere and for much less than the U.S. ‘medical system’ is charging.
So, along with my idea of making Peñasco the safest beach-front (vacation, retirement and place to open a business) destination in all of Mexico let’s also make us the Numero Uno ‘Medical Vacation’ destination in this hemisphere. And when we accomplish those two objectives everyone who lives here will have futures so bright they’ll have to wear ‘shades’ 24/7365!
